What is AOGS?

The Asia Oceania Geosciences Society was established in 2003 to promote geophysical science and public benefits for the region. Stretching from Kashmir to Wellington, Asia and Oceania is a diverse, heavily populated region,and a hotbed of challenges with unique scientific issues to discover and understand. AOGS comprises a range of geosciences including Atmospheric Science, Hydrological Science, Ocean Science, Planetary Science, Solar and Terrestrial Science, and Solid Earth Science.
