Thu, 19 Feb 2009 - Official Opening of the Earth Observatory of Singapore

The Earth Observatory of Singapore (EOS) is officially opened on the 19th February 2009. EOS is an autonomous institute of the Nanyang Technological University (NTU), and was set up to study volcaonoes, earthquakes, tsunamis and climate change (global warming) in the region.
