Giuseppe PETRILLO

Research Fellow

Profile

He is a Research Fellow at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) - Earth Observatory of Singapore (EOS), specializing in statistical mechanics, statistical seismology, complex systems and stochastic modeling. With a background that bridges physics and mathematics, His work aims to advance stochastic models by incorporating physical principles. His research spans from statistical mechanics models, such as interfaces in disordered media, to more mathematically driven approaches, including space-time-marked self-exciting Hawkes processes of the branching type. His goal is to push the boundaries of these models by infusing them with deeper physical understanding.
