Dr. Pawan Kumar Chaubey is currently a Research Fellow at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. Before joining NTU, he worked as a Research Associate at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Mohali. He completed his Ph.D. in Geophysics from Banaras Hindu University, India. He received the prestigious Digital Green Talent Award from the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research.
Dr. Pawan’s research focuses on High resolution climate modeling, examining the future changes in Hydroclimate extremes like drought and flood, downscaling techniques using both traditional methods and artificial intelligence. His work includes the development and analysis of localized climate projections, with applications in Southeast Asia. His research aims to enhance the accuracy of future climate impact assessments and support resilience building in vulnerable regions.
