Zhenhuan WANG

PhD Student

Computational Geophysics Lab

Induced Seismicity, Numerical Modeling

Profile

Zhenhuan is a PhD student of computational geophysics focusing on studying the induced seismicity and fault stability under fluid injection with physics-based numerical tools. He holds a bachelor and a master degree of Geophysics from the Southern University of Science and Technology. His goal is to better understand the earthquake mechanics and mitigate the seismic hazard raised from human activities such as CO2 sequestration, hydraulic fracturing and enhanced geothermal system.
